Pocono Mountain Youth Soccer Academy focuses on providing Grades 1st-6th a foundation of fundamental soccer skills that he or she can use throughout their soccer careers!

The Pocono Mountain Youth Soccer Academy aims to provide the best local soccer instruction for those young players looking to receive extra soccer practice and elevate their individual game!

The Academy Program was created to provide the residents of Pocono Mt. School District an opportunity to develop their soccer skills and learn the fundamentals needed, in order to be able to play the beautiful game of soccer, at a high level. PMYSA is the next step of our Grass Roots Program, in which we teach more in-depth soccer aspects, compared to the PMYSL. 

Here at the Academy , we believe that if a player is taught good habits at a young age and given the proper skills and opportunities to succeed, they will truly enjoy playing the game and naturally fall in love with the sport. 

The Academy focuses on these 6 fundamentals of soccer:

             - passing (with both feet)        - striking/shooting

              - dribbling/foot skills                 - coordination/balance

               - speed/agility                               - ball control/ first touch

Our Fall Academy will run between September 9th - October 18th!

• PMYSA is the next step of our Grass Roots / Beginners Program. Here we teach more in-depth soccer aspects and lessons compared to PMYSL.
• For those with little to no soccer experience, please look into our affiliate program, Mighty Kicks for ages 2-6 first before registering.
• The Academy Program was created to provide the youth of Pocono Mt. School District an opportunity to work on their coordination + athletic movements while developing their soccer skills and learning the fundamentals needed in order to be able to play soccer successfully.   Small sided games will be played at the end of each practice session.
• *Players Must Live in PMSD
• Academy Practices will start introducing kids to soccer drills, skills, fundamentals, and allow the kids to play in a fun practice environment with game play at the end of each session!
• Academy Practices will be ONCE a week at Swiftwater Elementary Center from 530pm-dark/7pm. 
  • Boys Grades 1st-6th ; Mondays 
  • Girls  Grades 1st-6th; Fridays
• PMYSA will run for 6 total sessions between September 9th-October 25th
• Players need soccer cleats, soccer socks, shin guards, and water

September 13th - October 18th!

Cost: $80 for 6 session program (ONCE A WEEK) + shirt.
